CAUTION: This post is all over the place. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Thank you all so much for your sweet comments about Roo! I am so in love with her! If anyone out there is considering getting a dog, I highly recommend it.
I mean! π

I may or may not have mentioned that my cousin is getting married in Seattle this spring . . .
After my whirlwind visit to see her last year, where this happened
I’m sooooo excited to go back in April to be in their wedding! I booked my hotel and flight yesterday, and I suddenly have an attack of wanting to be there right.now! Even thought we’ve never lived in the same city, I miss her all the time! Damn expensive plane tickets!
Anyway, luckily for me, Alison chose something a little classier than the denim romper for her bridesmaids. Not that I would have minded the denim romper or anything . . .
I had to do a gratuitous self-portrait when I got my dress in the mail for Ali’s approval. She approved!
It’s kind of hard to see, but the dress is a deep purple, and suuuuuper comfy. It literally feels like wearing pajamas! Bridesmaid win! It’s the SoCal Bungalow Dress on ModCloth if anyone’s interested . . . now I just have to figure out my shoe situation! Her colors are grey, green, and purple, so I have some choice. I like these, but they’re out in my size . . .
These are amazing, but a little pricey . . .
(or a lot pricey).
As are these . . .
Oh, Badgley. You and your beautiful shoes . . . *sigh*
Anyway, if anyone comes across some crazy on sale Badgley’s, feel free to steer me in their direction!

So, in the midst of chasing after this little nut job, who is living up to her name and jumping around like a crazy kanga-Roo all the time, I’ve managed to keep up with my marathon training, which seems to be going well.
I got my yoga and a 3 miler in on Sunday, an easy 7 on Monday, and spent some quality time with Jillian yesterday. And guess what? I actually enjoyed my strength training! After a couple weeks off, it felt good to push myself with some weight. Strangely enough, I felt like I was getting stronger while I did my workout, which was a huge motivator! Thanks, Jillian!
I also have to mention that I invented the best thing ever last night. OK, I probably didn’t invent it, but it’s new to me! I wanted something chocolatey, but not super heavy for dessert. I’ve been kind of obsessed with Chobani lately, so I decided to make a pudding/mousse out of some black cherry yogurt.
I just mixed in about a tablespoon of cocoa powder and a packet of stevia and called it dessert. Um, YUM.
So, yeah. You should probably do that. Like, NOW.
Alrighty, well if you hung in there this long, thanks so much! I promise I’ll organize my thoughts a little better in the near future! π
Black cherry Chobani + cocoa couldn’t be anything less than amazing.
Yesterday, I had the apple cinnamon Chobani with a Splenda and extra cinnamon and it was like dessert. Great minds. π
The apple cinnamon is ridic. RIDIC!!!
I feel like I’m the only person not completely enamored with the apple cinnamon. I mean, I like it, it’s good, but I don’t think it’s the best flavor out there. Maybe I’m eating it wrong.
Those silver shoes? Ridiculously cute. I want them now even though I have no reason to own shoes like that. Clearly I did something wrong not marrying for money and getting to attend swank parties all the time. Stupid love getting in the way of fancy cocktail hours…
“Maybe I’m eating it wrong.” Hilarious.
I’ll keep shoes in mind in my quest for love. Adding to the criteria: must have occasion to wear fancy shoes.
I am jealous that you guys have Chobani. I have to drive 2 1/2 hours and cross the border to North Dakota to get some. Oh and def. splurge on the shoes–esp. the purple ones! So lovely! π
It’s tempting! They are REALLY pretty . . .
Maybe you can mail order some? I always see people getting cases of Chobani in the mail around the blog world!
hahaha love the denim romper photo! and those are all beautiful shoes… i would have such a hard time choosing!
loving your black cherry chobani creation – definitely trying that out!
That yogurt looks delicious! I’ve added cinnamon into the vanilla before, but that black cherry and cocoa powder combo looks so good! I want to make it now!!!
I like all of the shoes… Just buy them all!! Remember when I accidentally bought two pairs of Manolos in one easy swipe of my credit card? You should try it, it’s almost painless! :o)
But those were MANOLOS. And it was NY. It’s tempting!
I LOVE that bridesmaid’s dress. She did good – maybe you’ll even wear it again after?! Yay for Seattle! Where is she getting married at? Your dog is so precious!
I think I probably will! I can’t remember the exact venue, but I know it’s right on Lake Union! So pretty!
And thank you! I’m smitten with her! π
watcha mean this post is all over the place? I call that perfect blog-post fusion. The doggy is adorable. The dress is awesome (looks great on you!), and I adore high heels #2. Chobani mousse? I’ll take it!
A girl after my own heart! Thanks, love!
Gorgeous bridesmaid dress – none of the ones I had to wear looked that good! Your cousin did well picking that one!
I’ve been in a lot of weddings, and this one is my favorite! π
I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of it, but sign up for ideeli.com. It’s a designer sample sale site. They have Badgely Mischka shoes on there about once a month for soooo much cheaper than other places. It’s where I got my wedding shoes! You just have to watch for them.
Thanks for the tip!! I will be checking it out! π
Seriously, she is freaking adorable! Those little puppy dog eyes are precious :D. I’m glad that your marathon training is still going well! And that dress looks so pretty! I’m sure you’ll find a great shoe that won’t break the bank!
